At 330 PM...National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms centered across central portions of DuPage County...moving northeast at 25 mph. As this storm passes over the region...strong wind gusts in excess of 60 mph will be possible. Locations in the path of this storm include but are not limited to...Wheaton...Glen Ellyn...Glendale Heights...and Lombard. This storm is expected to move into northwestern portions of Cook County within the half hour."
Not too much different from the original alert below, but hey, more information is always better.
