OK, look at that radar image. Look at that line of red, headed right for my apartment. You should see and hear the tumult outside my window. I can look out my window and see the entire horizon lighting up from repeated lightning, then huge streaks of rain as the wind blows the rain against the window.
Needless to say Chicago is under Severe thunderstorm warning and a watch until 3 AM.
Then it gets hot for the weekend.
Yeah, I really love summer...
Batten down the hatches!
