Gorgeous Weekend, Rainy 4th Ahead

It was a gorgeous weekend here in Chicago. The sun was out and there were very few clouds. The temperatures were pleasant with the wind off of the lake. In short, for my money, it was gorgeous and perfect. It does not appear like it will last, however, and it may rain for the 4th of July. So, for those of you looking to wander around downtown at the Taste of Chicago, you may want to bring an umbrella.

For today, Monday, it will be sunny and pleasant with a high around 80.

Tonight will be partly cloudy with lows in the 60s.

Tuesday will be warmer, with more clouds.

Tuesday night brings a chance of rain with lows in the upper 60s.

Good chance of thunderstorms comes with Independence Day and the highs are expected in the upper 80s.
